On Friday afternoon, we were led through the streets of Beziers by the Mother House Community to visit and meditate on the sites associated with Father Gailhac, Eugene and Appollonie Cure and the early RSHM community. The 12 steps have already been photodocumented by the group from Marymount school in the USA.

Comments:
This was a great chance for the group to come to an understanding of the foundations and history of the RSHM.

We were lucky to have Sr. Andre as our guide for the afternoon and her vast amount of knowledge and enthusiasm for the story was an inspiration to us.

The walk itself was enjoyable and it allowed us to see more of Beziers.

Afterwards we reflected upon what we had learned and our group created a picture illustrating our reactions to the tour.

A very enjoyable day!

We heard about this meeting through an RSHM sister, Anne Murphy who lectured in our college, Mater Dei in Dublin. We are both studying music, religion and education and hope to teach at second level when we are qualified in two years.
